Speckled Horse Mug

This mug has been wheel thrown using buff speckled stoneware clay.  The design has been hand painted with underglaze then hand carved.  After the first firing, an application of brown glossy glaze has been applied to the carved areas and then wiped back.  The interior/exterior has been glazed in turquoise glossy glazes. The underglazed images have been given a coating of liquid quartz. 

This mug holds approx 14-16 ounces and is dishwasher and microwave safe.  Although we do recommend hand washing.

All of my work is handmade by myself.  Small inconsistencies in colour, size, and shape should be expected due to the nature of the process.
