Speckled Aztec Mug

This mug has been wheel thrown using buff speckled stoneware clay.  The design has been hand painted with underglaze then hand carved. The underglazed images have been given a coating of liquid quartz. The inside has been glazed in a glossy turquoise/blue glaze, and the rest of the mug has been glazed in glossy white.  The carved areas and braided leather looking handle, has been finished with a glossy brown glaze

This mug holds 12-13 ounces and is dishwasher and microwave safe.  Although we do recommend hand washing.

All of my work is handmade by myself.  Small inconsistencies in colour, size, and shape should be expected due to the nature of the process.
